SM216 drum motor has medium load and steel gearbox drive. It has a large torque and it is very hard, so it can withstand higher radial loads. SM216 drum motor is specially designed for conveying single heavy items or bulk materials. Its power range is 0.37 kW to 4.0 kW.
SM216 drum motor uses special design for gear transmission. High alloy steel precision grinding gear is used to make sure ultra-low noise during the transmission. And die cast aluminum gearbox is used in SM216 drum motor. Non-slip thread is used in the surface of the motor drive roller to prevent slipping and rusting effectively. 304 stainless steel is used in the food grade motor drive rollers. If the frequency is 50Hz or 60Hz, all kinds of voltages around the world can be used. The motor insulation grade is F grade. And all the motors are attached with super-heat protectors. SM216 drum motors use oil immersion heat dissipation method. The sealing protection grade of drum motors is IP66/67. All the drum motors have been oiled in accordance with the standard before delivery and the oil need to be changed every 50000 hours. SM216 drum motors need horizontal installation.
